Hello! My name is Janet and I am a geekette.

I didn’t understand what all the madness about Doctor Who was until late one night, I decided to Netflix the first episode. That night, I made it through ten episodes–I just couldn’t stop!–and was an instantly converted Whovian. I also couldn’t fall asleep right away because I had had the bejesus scared out of me by a certain little boy in a gas mask.. *shudder*

My very first sci-fi love was “The Twilight Zone”, which still creeps me out to this day, even though I’ve seen them all before. Rod Serling’s unique creepy sci-fi touch is all over Doctor Who–totally the reason why I’m a Whovian.

When I’m not arguing with Aric about why Matt Smith is not yet up to par with certain previous Doctors, I’m to be found lazing about at the beach, finishing up my MBA or scheming at the fastest way to get back to the UK.
